DCT Spring Wine Dinner A Memorable Evening
Several of the Trustees of the Dennis Conservation Trust joined in welcoming a large group of guests to The Red Pheasant, Route 6A, Dennis on Friday night, May 14th, for the Spring Wine Dinner. Many of the arriving guests were familiar faces- most who find the wine dinners as not only a way to support the Trust but also a way to spend a very enjoyable evening. The event also attracted several new supporters of the Trust. After the brief update on recent activities of the Trust, the highlight of the night was the introduction of Joseph Carr, a part time resident of Dennis who with his wife Deidre owns Joseph Carr Wines. As each wine was served with the accompanying menu selections, Joseph gave information about the flavor, development, grapes, etc. interwoven with the story of the company. Guests had the opportunity to savor the wonderful wines, and spend time with Joseph throughout the evening to ask more specifics about the wines or the processes. Denise and Bill Atwood of the Red Pheasant and their staff orchestrated serving the delicious multiple courses of the meal with their usual impeccable attention to detail.
Each guest received a beautiful print of the vineyard hand autographed by Joseph Carr as a memento of the evening. Special thanks to Joseph Carr Wines and The Red Pheasant.

The warm and friendly atmosphere at The Red Pheasant Inn was a charming setting for the gourmet presentations by Chef Bill Atwood, with meticulous attention to detail by his wife Denise.
